Diamond Creations
Diamond cutting specialists for the jewellery industry
Diamond Creations has over 45 years experience of cutting bespoke wedding rings and other precious metal jewellery. We can offer "while you wait" service, or same day postal return, and production runs of larger quantities. We have brought together specialists in their own jewellery patterning fields to create an all round service under one roof.
New wedding ring pattern styles that follow the latest trends are constantly being developed, and for simplicity you can select a ring pattern from our directory of images.
- We are able to supply one-off ring samples in silver, ready to be plated, or supply full sets of sample rings. Please call on 0121 236 4567 to discuss your requirements or our most popular styles.
The most popular at present is based around the channel cut wedding ring. The channel can be simply aesthetic or functional for the basis of channel set diamonds. A special page demonstrating how we achieve this can be found under (Functional Patterns). Typically the channel has been chased out by a jeweller/setter; however, for an accurate consistent cut it is more effective to mill the channel to match your diamond measurements. This can be done by either, providing the measurements and quantity of the diamonds you would like setting, or providing one diamond as a sample for us to match the channel to.
We can re-cut or re-pattern wedding rings in gold, platinum, palladium or silver to produce the as new sparkle. Other processes include sandblasting, matt, brushed satin or many different textures.
Refurbished Rolex bezels - We are able to re-cut original rolex fluted bezels.
As part of our service we can collect your blank ring from local suppliers in the jewellery Quarter such as Domino / Weston Beamor, Betts Metals, Hockley Mint, Euro Findings etc. We would then pattern it and post to you via special delivery.
We have developed our directory of patterns to also highlight the differences between the base metal and style of blank rings. Palladium rings are becoming very popular, however, due to the characteristics of the metal, only a limited amount of patterns are possible (excessive wear or complete destruction of our tools can result). Also, certain patterns produce different effects on flat or D-shape rings. We have tried to show this as much as possible in the structure of the ranges and the actual photos. We are also developing a historical patterns directory for information.
We are developing a FAQ page to deal with common problems. For example: Hand made rings can be particularly problematic, especially if they have been sized.
